2003 Coronation-Golden Jubilee PNC. The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place on 2 June 1953. Hundreds of thousands of people descended upon London for the coronation to watch the Queen ride from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey in the ornate State of 'Glass Coach', preceded by a long procession. During the coronation ceremony, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Elizabeth swore the coronation oath. Featuring commemorative 50 cent, one 50c stamp and $2.45 stamp.
